Artist Statement
As an artist raised in the Bahamas, my work is deeply inspired by the vibrant colors, spirited people, lively celebrations, and breathtaking natural beauty of our islands.
Through my mixed media clay and quilt pieces, I strive to capture the true essence of Bahamian life. My art emphasizes organic forms and intricate details, creating a bridge between tradition and innovation — honoring the time-honored crafts of my ancestors while exploring fresh, contemporary expressions.
With every piece, I invite the viewer to experience the rich tapestry of Bahamian culture and the beauty that surrounds us every day.
