Jonathan Lamar Lewis

My art is a reflection of the best part of me—rooted in the perspective of a chubby, shy, girl-crazy kid who sees untapped beauty and strength in the people and places around him. It draws from years of observations, emotions, and thoughts shaped by my youth, my military service, and my journey as a Black man evolving through life. Each piece represents my growth and the experiences that have shaped me.

At its core, my artwork is a celebration of love for my people and community, expressed through both conventional and unconventional imagery. I hope to spark deeper conversations and inspire the exchange of ideas and consciousness.
