Members Only Area

More Information Below

This space was created from a place of deep understanding—because I’ve been there. As an artist myself, I know the struggle. Less than 10% of artists actually make a living from their art, and the journey is never easy. There are moments when you need support, guidance, and opportunities—but often, there’s no one there to help or to simply share how things work.

That’s why Emerging Creatives exists: to be that safe space I wish I had.

A space where artists at any stage of their journey can share their work, feel seen, and find real opportunities to grow.

This members-only area is designed to give you practical tools and insider knowledge—from how to present your artwork professionally to how to find (and prepare for) exhibitions. It’s about learning to do things the right way—without gatekeeping, without judgment.

You’re not alone. We’re here to uplift each other, share what we’ve learned, and make space for more artists to thrive.

Let’s grow together.

Artist Bio

An artist’s bio is important because it provides context and background that help viewers, collectors, and curators connect with the artist on a deeper level. It shares who you are, where you come from, and what inspires your work—offering insight into your creative journey and artistic voice. A strong bio can build credibility, make your art more relatable, and open doors to new opportunities.

Art Pricing

Pricing your artwork can be one of the hardest parts of being an artist, especially because it involves placing value on your time, creativity, and emotional investment. One important thing to consider is your experience level and the cost of materials, as well as the time it took to create the piece. Finding a balance between what feels fair to you and what your target audience is willing to pay is key. Remember, your price reflects both the worth of your work and the value you place on your artistic journey.

Artist Statement

A strong artist statement is important because it gives meaning to your work by expressing the ideas, intentions, and emotions behind it. It helps viewers, curators, and potential buyers understand your creative process and what drives your art. A well-crafted statement can deepen the connection between you and your audience, making your work more impactful and memorable.

Taking Photos of Your Art

Good photos of your artwork are essential because they serve as the first impression of your work, especially in digital spaces where most people will see your art online before ever experiencing it in person. High-quality images capture the true colors, textures, and details of your piece, allowing viewers to connect with the work in a more meaningful way. This is especially important when applying for exhibitions, galleries, or grants, where jurors and curators make decisions based solely on digital submissions.  In a competitive art world, strong visuals can make all the difference.

Art Description

An art description is a brief explanation that accompanies a piece of artwork, providing details such as the title, medium, size, and the inspiration or story behind it. It serves as a bridge between the artist and the viewer, offering insight into the artist’s intentions, creative process, and the meaning or message behind the work. Art descriptions are important because they help viewers connect more deeply with the piece, appreciate its nuances, and understand the context in which it was created. A well-written description can elevate the impact of the artwork and engage a broader audience.

Art Presentation

Presenting your art properly is essential when sharing it with collectors, galleries, and even on social media. A well-presented piece not only highlights the quality and emotion of your work but also shows professionalism and care. Clean, well-lit photos, accurate descriptions, and thoughtful presentation can make all the difference in attracting interest and respect for your art.
